St Ann’s WindermereThe Windermere hostel is situated on a quiet scenic point on the waterfront of the Derwent River in the northern suburb of Claremont.Windermere offers a comfortable and friendly environment which encourages independence. It houses 29 permanent low care residents and all rooms are single, fully carpeted and contain ensuites. A low care respite room is also available at Windermere. There is a dining room, two large activity areas and four smaller lounge areas at Windermere. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms and tea and coffee making facilities are available in each of the three wings. Level access gardens provide beautiful and relaxing views of the river, the reserve next to the hostel and the eastern shore.
